Coordination and specialist centre

The tasks of the coordination and specialist centre are

• First point of contact for problem situations according to the funding area;

• Managing the creation and updating of the "Partnership for Democracy", in cooperation with the lead office, the monitoring committee and other stakeholders;

• Coordination and technical monitoring of the content of the individual measures, also with a view to greater integration into the overall local strategy;

• Professional, content-related and administrative/technical advice for (programme) stakeholders in the subject area;

• Public relations work to publicise the federal programme and the "Partnership for Democracy" locally;

• Support for networking, publicising and making use of services at state level (especially democracy centres);

• Promoting networking between civil society and the administration, in particular encouraging and supporting the transfer of expertise for dealing with problematic situations in administrative structures in accordance with the area of support;

• Promotion of professional qualification of actors;

• Further development of the work in the municipality in the subject area;

• Ensuring cooperation with the programme evaluation/scientific monitoring of the federal programme;

• Ensuring the recording of project data and results;

• Participation in content-related and qualifying measures of the federal programme.
