3-ferry tour
The 3 ferries across the Elbe (Barby, Breitenhagen) and Saale (Groß Rosenburg) are key elements of this route. The circular route uses existing designated cycle paths such as the Saale Cycle Route and the Elbe Cycle Route and creates a further connection in between. With a total length of approx. 24 kilometres, this route is also an interesting option for inexperienced cyclists and children. And that's not all: the proximity to the water, with everything that goes with it, such as ferries, floodplain landscape with large old trees and dykes, water birds and tranquillity, invites you to linger and relax.
In addition, the castle complex in Klein Rosenburg, the museum ship in Breitenhagen and the old town centre of Barby with its town wall and towers invite you to marvel and discover.
