What does the job centre do?
The Job Centre is a government office.
It helps people in difficult life situations.
For example:
If you have been out of work for a long time.
And you can no longer pay your rent.
Or you do not have enough money to live on.
Then the Job Centre may be able to help you.


To do so, you must submit an application
for citizen's income.
You must complete the application form and submit it to the
Job Centre.
The rules governing the citizen's income are laid down in law.
The law is contained in Social Code Book 2.
