Bernburg. Donating blood is one of the simplest and quickest ways to do a good deed: by donating blood in just 30 to 60 minutes, you can help ensure that patients at Halle (Saale) University Hospital have a supply of blood products, thereby saving up to three lives. As a thank you for every donation, we’ll give you a tasty snack for the journey home and an allowance of €20.

When can you donate blood?
- You are healthy
- You weigh at least 50 kg
- You do not have a cold
- Your last whole blood donation was at least 8 weeks ago
- You drank 1.5 litres beforehand
- You bring an identity document with you
