Apply for noise control monitoring
Service description
Noise protection refers to all measures taken to protect against noise that is a nuisance or poses a health risk. The legal regulations on noise protection serve to balance the interests of those causing noise and those affected by it.
Noise
protection includes, amongst other things, precautionary planning, such as concentrating noise in areas where it is unavoidable anyway and where it disturbs as few people as possible.
In the interests of noise protection, residential and industrial areas are sensibly zoned through town and country planning.
The most versatile structural measures available today are noise barriers, noise embankments, noise-proof tunnels and soundproof walls. Under certain conditions, these may be supported by funding schemes from the state, the federal government and the EU. The point of contact and the body responsible for funding is the Investment Bank of Saxony-Anhalt.
The State Office for Environmental Protection is involved in noise mapping and noise reduction planning.Who should I contact?
The responsibility lies with the State Administration Office.
