Salzlandkreis Community Psychiatric Network (GVP SLK)
The Salzlandkreis Community Psychiatric Association (GPV SLK) is an association of service providers, cost bearers and other partners. It is based on the Saxony-Anhalt Act on Assistance and Protective Measures for Persons with Mental Illness (PsychKG LSA).
The main aim is to ensure that people who are mentally ill or at risk of becoming mentally ill and who are habitually resident in the Salzland district receive the support they need.

GPV plenary session on 16/09/2025
At the GPV plenary meeting on 16 September 2025, a circular resolution was prepared and approved, among other things. It concerned a letter of support for the planned expansion of services by a network partner. This letter was made available to the network partner for the further implementation process.

Constituent meeting on 18 April 2024
At the constituent meeting of the GPV SLK on 18 April 2024, important foundations were laid for the work of the association:

Foundation of the GPV Salzlandkreis on 31 January 2024
On 31 January 2024, the Salzlandkreis Community Psychiatric Association (GPV SLK) was officially founded in Bernburg (Saale). By signing the cooperation agreement, service providers, funding agencies and other partners have committed to working closely together to strengthen psychiatric care in the Salzlandkreis district in the long term.

Specialised committees of the GPV
FA 1 - Specialist committee for the chronically mentally ill and/or people with mental or intellectual disabilities
The specialist committee for chronically mentally ill people and/or people with mental or intellectual disabilities of the Salzlandkreis Community Psychiatric Association (GPV SLK) emerged from the working group of the same name of the former PSAG.
It provides a forum for intensive dialogue between professionals, institutions and providers. The aim is to further improve care for this target group in the Salzland district through case-related discussions, examples of best practice and professional recommendations. On request, the committee prepares statements for the network conference and the plenary session.
FA 2 - Specialist committee for mentally ill children and adolescents
The expert committee for mentally ill children and adolescents is dedicated to networking and exchanging information on topics that specifically affect this target group. In addition to discussing complex individual cases, statements are prepared for the Network Conference. In this way, the committee contributes to the further development and optimisation of care structures.
FA 3 - Specialist committee for people suffering from addiction
The expert committee for people suffering from addiction ensures an intensive exchange on the specific topics of addiction problems. In addition to the case-related discussion of serious individual cases, it prepares expert opinions for the network conference and the plenum. The aim is to optimise work in the field of addiction and to strengthen cooperation between the stakeholders in the Salzland district.
FA 4 - Specialist committee for mentally ill older people / geriatric psychiatry
The expert committee for mentally ill older people of the Salzlandkreis Community Psychiatric Association (GPV SLK) is dedicated to the special needs of this target group. It serves as a platform for regular dialogue between experts and institutions and helps to identify gaps in care and develop suitable solutions. In addition to case-related discussions, statements are prepared on request for the joint conference and the plenary session. The aim is to sustainably improve geriatric psychiatric care in the Salzland district.
