Required documents
- Identity card or passport, residence permit
- Activities in the Federal Voluntary Service, Voluntary Social Year and student internships must be documented on site with the relevant documents
- Under-18s must bring an informal declaration of consent and assumption of costs from their parents to the event

Fees for instruction and issuance of the certificate: €28.20
Exemption from fees is possible with the following proof:
- Federal Volunteer Service
- Voluntary social / ecological year
- Student internship

The face-to-face instruction is only offered in German. The instruction can therefore only take place accompanied by an interpreter.

Measles
The Measles Protection Act has been in force since 1 March 2020. The Act aims to promote protection against measles in nurseries, schools and other community facilities, as well as medical facilities. Certain groups
of people must therefore prove that they have had all measles vaccinations (2). These groups of people are:- all children from the age of one before entering a daycare centre or school
- all persons born after 1970 who work in a community centre or are cared for there
- all persons born after 1970 who work in medical facilities
- Asylum seekers and refugees no later than four weeks after admission to shared accommodation.

Federal Centre for Health Education – Pathogen profile: TBHYSA network
The Hygiene Network in Saxony-Anhalt (HYSA) was founded in October 2010. Antibiotic-resistant pathogens are a serious infectiological problem that affects all healthcare institutions (clinics, surgeries, nursing homes, care services, rescue and transport services) and staff from various healthcare professions.

- Exchange between the hospital hygiene departments of hospitals, rehabilitation clinics and outpatient care services on constantly new findings on communicable diseases

Counselling in accordance with the Prostitute Protection Act
Main tasks
- All persons working as prostitutes must attend a health counselling session before starting their work and at regular intervals
- Counselling takes place every six months for people under the age of 21 and annually for people over the age of 21
- The public health department issues the persons with a certificate for the counselling provided. Authorisation to carry out the activity is issued by the General Regulatory Affairs Department.

Drinking water hygiene
Main tasks

Specifications for the operation of a water supply system
The operators of water supply systems are legally obliged to notify the health authority of the following:
- The construction of the water supply system
- The recommissioning or commissioning
- Structural or operational changes to the water supply system
- Transfer of ownership of the water supply system
- Decommissioning of the water supply system
- In the case of temporary water supply systems, the expected duration of operation must be reported.
These notifications must be made four weeks before the start of construction, commissioning or modification.
