Due to their acute or previous life circumstances, many people need stabilisation and support in order to find their way back into society or employment. The needs are as varied as life itself and cannot be categorised. Everyday problems in the family, with the home or, for example, communicating with authorities or other institutions are often perceived as much more difficult in this situation and are often conflict-laden.
The Salzlandkreis job centre offers professional support for the citizens of the Salzlandkreis district at all 4 locations in the social advice centre, regardless of their income situation. They provide counselling and support and work together to develop individual solutions and perspectives for various social, psychological and health problems. The counselling service is free of charge for those seeking help.
The staff at the Job Centre's advice centre provide socio-educational support in individual cases. This is not a therapeutic service or psychological counselling.
Main tasks
- Socio-educational support for individual cases
- Counselling and support for social, psychological and health problems
- Recording the current situation and support needs in a one-to-one discussion
- Organisation of appointments and accompaniment to appointments with authorities
- Crisis intervention, i.e. organisation of rapid assistance, including in cooperation with other specialist services or special counselling services
- Home visits if required
